Biography
Dr. Zaver grew up in Georgia, where he first obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and subsequently his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He continued his education with a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Houston Health Science Center, the largest medical complex in the world, where fast-paced, pathology-driven experience prepared him for a rigorous glaucoma subspecialty fellowship at the University of Colorado under the tutelage of world-renowned glaucoma specialists. Dr. Zaver is looking forward to serving the greater northern Virginia area with expertise in the newest medical and surgical glaucoma treatments, cataracts, and comprehensive Ophthalmology. He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Glaucoma Society. He enjoys gardening, hiking, and old family recipes.
